Mrs. Maxim wanted the bedroom windows of a house she was selling to have high-quality protective shades. The windows in question had pretty much no indentation on the inside, but quite deep sills on the outside. This meant that exterior shades were the only good option for fitting in a window treatment with any kind of substance to it.
The customer wanted some heavy, cozy-looking shades, so we designed a pair of vertical dark blue-green canvass sets. Mrs. Maxim wasn’t sure about how to connect the power supply, so we went with old fashioned manual shades; open the window, and reach out to adjust them! There wasn’t any good place for a ladder, so we brought a forklift out and raised a railed platform to work from. We covered both of the bedroom windows and gave each set a few stress tests before packing up the heavy equipment.
